A free webinar presented by ๐๐ฑ๐ผ๐ถ๐ฎ ๐๐น๐ผ๐น๐ฎ (Texas Tech University) and ๐๐ป๐ฎ ๐ข๐๐ธ๐ผ๐ (University of Maryland, Baltimore County), co-authors of "๐2 ๐๐ช๐จ๐ช๐ต๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ณ๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ช๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ข๐ค๐ช๐ฆ๐ด: ๐๐ช๐ณ๐ฆ๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ด๐ด๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ค๐ฆ." In this webinar, Dr. Elola & Dr. Oskoz will present theoretical approaches (e.g., social-semiotic theory and activity theory) that relate to digital feedback; focus on providing a rationale for expanding the use of feedback to cover the linguistic and nonlinguistic components encountered in a multimodal text; address the potential for novel and sometimes complementary modes of feedback using different tools (e.g., oral and written feedback using Screencast-O-Matic); and discuss an example of a rubric that can guide the type of feedback that we as instructors can offer in digital multimodal texts. This is the second webinar in our Summer series, Digital Multimodal Composition in Language Education. For full details visit: ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐น๐น.
