Faculty Reading: Bojan Louis, Ander Monson and Manuel Muñoz

We are proud to present University of Arizona faculty readers Bojan Louis, Ander Monson and Manuel Muñoz, who will read from their work. Bojan Louis (Diné) is the author of the poetry collection Currents (BkMk Press 2017), which received a 2018 American Book Award, and the short-story collection Sinking Bell (Graywolf Press 2022). He teaches at the University of Arizona. Ander Monson’s most recent books are Predator: a Memoir, a Movie, an Obsession (nonfiction); I Will Take the Answer (nonfiction); and The Gnome Stories (fiction), published by Graywolf Press. He edits the magazine DIAGRAM, Essay Daily, New Michigan Press, the Assessment Matters Institute, and March Xness, among other projects, and teaches at the University of Arizona. Manuel Muñoz is the author of a novel, What You See in the Dark, and the short-story collections The Consequences (Graywolf, 2022), Zigzagger, and The Faith Healer of Olive Avenue, which was shortlisted for the Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award. Stories from his collection The Consequences have appeared in Glimmer Train, American Short Fiction, ZYZZYVA, and Freeman’s. He has been recognized with a Whiting Writer’s Award, a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, three O. Henry Awards, and an appearance in Best American Short Stories.
